Little Campers

                                        .::Camping::.

                        We have been camping in Ms. Barb's classroom the last couple of days!
Yep, thats right, you heard me correctly.... CAMPING! There is a tent and a "campfire" in the classroom. All of our little campers have been "roasting" marshmallows, singing songs 'round the   "campfire" and eating smores!!  It has been a pretty exciting time!

                                   These boys are really toughin' it here out in the "wilderness"

                                        Ooooo there is some creepy crawlers in our tent!!

                                          Butterfly fun!

How fun... one of the girls's mom brought in butterflies that were in cocoons!! The little campers got to see one butterfly come out of its cocoon! Take a peek!!

                                     Wilderness craft

                            We painted pin cones and added some glitter to spruce it up!

                                            ..::Story::..

                                       (Who loves you??)

For our story we had a VERY special surprise guest......SPARKY the dog!!! Sparky shared with us how MUCH Jesus loves us!! He had a special book that he kept close to his heart...the Bible! Sparky taught us how important it is to learn from God's word. The Bible teaches us soo much and it tells us of the deep, deep love that Jesus has for us! Sparky got the kids all excited about their Bibles! Thank you Sparky!!!!

                                     ..::Show & Tell::..

This was the most anticipated moment of the day.... SHOW AND TELL!  Some of the kids brought their most favorite toy! It was soo much fun watching them show off their favorite items!! take a look:

 We had a blast today!!! Cant wait for the next class!! Next show and tell make sure you dont forget to bring an item!

Welcome Back!!!

Here we are another summer come and gone, and everyone's kids a year older than last year!  We've been busy getting the classroom prepped and ready for the upcoming year and we're SO EXCITED to have all of your kids here!

There are a few changes this year we'd like you to know about:  First of all, Miss Amy Stemler is no longer with us.  She will be very much missed, but with the lack of an afternoon class in the 3 year olds we were forced to downsize our staff a bit.  Should we begin growing again, we would love to welcome her back on the Country Kids team!

Miss Amy Peterson will also be gone this year as well.  We would like to warmly Welcom Maren Salfrank as our new Office Manager.   She's 20 years old, recently married, and an exciting addition to our staff.  Be sure to stop by the office and say hi to her!

So as we prepare for next week, we will once again introduce our staff to you:

Miss Barb

Red / Yellow / and Blue Class Teacher and Owner

Miss Kelly

Teacher's Aide

Miss Darla

Teachers Aide

Maren Salfrank

Our Newest Addtion!!!

We look forward to next week!  If you have any questions or concerns about the first day of school, please feel free to call or email!
